Police: Suspect wanted for forgery

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The search is underway for a man wanted for forgery, according to Crime Stoppers.
Police said that on Aug. 27, just before 9 a.m., the suspect entered the Menards in the 7100 block of East 96th Street and proceeded to buy three generators with a counterfeit check. The check was for more than $2,700, officers said.
Crime Stoppers has described the suspect as a black male with a dreadlock hairstyle. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a white hat, an American flag mask, a blue t-shirt and black shorts.
