Search underway for robbery suspect
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a man wanted for robbery and are asking for the public’s help.
According to IMPD, in the morning of January 30, 2020, the suspect entered the Mars Hill Market in the 4100 block of West Troy Avenue.
The suspect returned to the store later in the day and then pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money.
After obtaining the undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the scene west on Troy and south on Rybolt avenues.
The suspect is described as a black male and, at the time the robbery, he was wearing a Toronto Raptors hat and carrying a black backpack.
