Victim files lawsuit against Jared Fogle and Russell Taylor
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A minor is suing Jared Fogle, Russell Taylor and Angela Taylor for damages against her.
She is suing Jared Fogle and Russell Taylor for $150,000 each.
She is referred to as Jane Doe in the court documents because she is a minor.
According to court documents, she visited the home of Russell and Angela Taylor. During that time, cameras were recording her changing clothes, bathing, showering and engaging in other private activities.
The documents state that Russell Taylor distributed “some of these sexually explicit images and videos of Jane Doe and other minor children to Jared Fogle.”
Fogle received nude images and video of Jane Doe multiple times between March 2011 and January 2015.
Jane Doe states that she has suffered personal injuries because of the violations.
The lawyer representing the victim released the following statement:
“It is accurate that on Tuesday, March 15, 2016, we filed a Complaint for Damages against Jared Fogle, Russell Taylor, and Angela Taylor in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, for the significant emotional trauma our client has suffered. We are confident in Indiana’s legal system and fully intend to allow the legal process to play out in this case. Because of the sensitive nature of the subject matter, we are concerned that our client is not further traumatized; therefore, in an effort to respect our client’s privacy, we will not be making any further comments or statements on this matter at this time.”
She is suing them for a combined $300,000 in damages. The documents state she has suffered and will continue to “suffer severe emotional distress and personal injuries.”
