Zionsville PD identifies victim in Friday morning fatal shooting
ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Zionsville police are investigating after a man was fatally shot Friday morning.
Police say multiple shots were fired in the 1300 block of Quail Run Court in Quail Run Apartments around 5:45 a.m.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Terrell Scott of Indianapolis.
No one is in custody, and suspect information has not been released.
Police said people nearby heard gunshots.
Witnesses reported seeing two vehicles leaving the area, one described as a white Chevrolet Impala and the other described as a white Honda Accord.
This is the first deadly shooting in Zionsville since an 82-year-old man was gunned down last September. The town had a total of three homicides in 2016.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Lebanon Police Department and Whitestown Police Department are assisting in the case.
