Damaged electrical poles close SR9 for 6 hours

HANCOCK CO., Ind. (WISH) – According to Hancock County Dispatch, SR9 between 400N and 600N will be closed for 6 hours after a car crash on Thursday morning.

Dispatch stated four poles were damaged after a car crashed into one of the poles and damaged three other poles.

The driver of the car was treated for minor injuries.

According to reports, the power company is now present at the scene of the accident to work on replacing the poles.

Hancock County Dispatch is urging drivers to avoid the area of the accident through Thursday afternoon.
