Davey Blackburn begs for info on wife’s murder

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — “If anybody is withholding information, we would beg them, please come forward.”

Davey Blackburn made that plea to the public Thursday night.

Appearing on “Inside Edition,” the husband of Amanda Blackburn spoke about his wife’s murder and how he is coping.

“I don’t even know if I can explain the gamut of emotions I feel on a daily basis,” Blackburn said. “When I go to bed at night and when I wake up in the morning, I feel alone.”

After the tragedy, Blackburn said his thoughts have turned to his young son.

“The hardest part is for me in this whole process is thinking about him growing up without his mom.”

Indianapolis police have detained three people for questioning in the Blackburn case, according to sources.

DNA from the Blackburn home is also believed to be key in the investigation.

More than 2,000 people gathered at Amanda Blackburn’s celebration of life service Sunday.
