Death investigation underway on east side after body found in alley
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after a body was found in an alley on the city’s east side.
The body was found in the 2900 block of North Drexel Avenue around 10:15 a.m.
IMPD said the body found is that of a black adult male.
The cause of death is unknown at this time but detectives did call it “suspicious.”
