INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – In 2016, Indiana will celebrate two hundred years of statehood.

In two hundred years a lot of history, both good and bad can happen.  For those interested in looking into the past of the great state of Indiana, the Indiana State Archives would be an excellent place to start that search.

The Indiana State Archives houses any and every kind of government document imaginable.  Its extensive collection dates back as far as the 1700s all the way to present day.

In order to get a better grasp on what happens at the Indiana State Archives, Dick Wolfsie recently stopped by to get a closer look at this unique and interesting facility.

Jim Corridan with the Indiana State Archives takes Dick on a personal tour and shows him some of Indiana’s historical documents and some of the storage technique the museum uses to preserve these priceless documents.
