Downtown Indy holding virtual city-wide dinner party

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Downtown Indy has planned a virtual dinner party for up to 200 guests on Thursday evening. The event is also part of the bicentennial celebration. 

There are 10 different parties hosted by a duo of “Indy doers.” A total of 20 guests are welcome in each group. 

There is no cost, the only requirement is to order food or drink from somewhere local. 

Yelp Indy is a partner in the event and has created a convenient list of local businesses offering carry out and delivery.

Organizers tell News 8, they want you to think of Thursday night as just another downtown event because conversations aren’t canceled and dinner parties don’t have to be either. 

Spots are limited and many of the parties are already full. If you miss out on getting in, Downtown Indy has also made a toolkit to help you host your own.
