INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Beginning on Saturday, vehicles will no longer be allowed in Eagle Creek Park.

According to a post on social media, it will remain open to bicyclists and pedestrians.

The park also said family centers, basketball courts, dog parks, golf courses, tennis courts and in-door facilities are closed.

The move is in order to try decrease crowd size and lessen traffic, according to the park.

Additionally, if you visit, the park reminds you to practice social distancing, avoid park trails if you’re experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and follow CDC guidelines.
