East side fire causes $60K in damages
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – No one was hurt in a fire at a vacant house on the east side of Indianapolis Thursday night.
Firefighters were called to the home on Hendricks Place shortly after 10:30 p.m. Officials say there was heavy fire showing when they got to the scene.
Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in 20 minutes. It caused an estimated $60,000 in damages.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Neighbors say that the occupants of the home had moved out earlier in the day.
