Entertainment Insider: Interview with Amy Smart of CW’s ‘Stargirl’
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — You may recognize her from the films “Just Friends,” “Varsity Blues” or “The Butterfly Effect.” Amy Smart now stars in the CW’s “Stargirl.”
The DC Universe drama follows Courtney as part of the Justice Society of America. Creator Geoff Johns created Courtney’s character in 1999, lovingly inspired by his late sister who was killed in a 1996 plane explosion, according to the CW.
WISH-TV’s Entertainment Insider, McKinzie Roth, got to chat with Smart about playing Barbara Whitmore, mother of Courtney.
