INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Former Indianapolis Colts Linebacker Gary Brackett released a 30-minute preview of a movie about his life on Thursday night at Studio Movie and Grill.

The film “Brackett” is based on his book “From Walk-on to Captain, In Football and Life.”

Brackett shares his adversities and how he’d overcome his obstacles.

It is his goal to share with the public about his personal struggles so some people do not feel alone.

“I want to put a movie out there that is really inspiring and ‘impactful’ for not only the youth but everyone that is looking to get through a tough time,” Brackett said.

Brackett said he hopes to release the full movie early next year.
