NEW YORK (CNN) — Soon, you can play in the upside-down as your favorite “Stranger Things” character.
Netflix announced Wednesday it plans to release a video game based on its hit horror series next year.
The free-to-play mobile game will be in the style of a 1980s Saturday morning cartoon.
With the help of Google Maps, players can explore the upside-down world featured in the series.
The streaming media company is working with Finnish developer Next Games on the game.
No word on when in 2020 it will be released.
Another video game with a “Stranger Things” theme will debut next month. That game will available on several platforms on July 4. That’s the same day the third season of the series launches on Netflix.
