‘Steel Magnolias’ back in theaters for 30th anniversary
(WISH) – A popular favorite will be hitting theaters across the country again this May.
“Steel Magnolias“ may be coming to a theater near you. It’s a part of Fathom Events’ TCM Big Screen Classics and in honor of the film’s 30th anniversary.
The flick stars an ensemble of silver screen icons: Sally Field, Dolly Parton, Shirley MacLaine, Daryl Hanna, Olympia Dukakis and Julia Roberts.
Set in Louisiana, members of the strong and funny female group work their way through heartbreak and loss, all the while leaning on each other for guidance on their journey through life’s trials and tribulations.
The film hits theaters May 19, with additional showings on May 21 and 22.
