Families donate defibrillator to Brownsburg police

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — A local family on Wednesday paid it forward by donating an automated external defibrillator to Brownsburg Police Department.

The donation came from two families whose sons were affected by sudden cardiac arrest a few years ago. One child lived; the other did not.

Dylan Williams died five years ago when he was hit in the chest by a baseball. His father said they don’t want another family to have to go through what they went through.
