INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A chilly start to the morning with temperatures in the mid to upper 20s. Lots of filtered sunshine for today with highs in the lower 50s for this afternoon!
Clouds will thicken up with a warm front pushing in from the southwest. Shower chances are expected to increase through the overnight with showers for the Wednesday morning commute.
Rain should move out by noon with mostly cloudy skies for the remainder of the day. Highs a good 10° warmer than our seasonal high with locations in the lower to mid-60s!
A cold front will crank up the winds late Wednesday and through the day on Thursday out of the south ushering in very warm and moist air. Highs on Thursday will soar to the lower 70s with scattered showers and storms.
There is a Marginal risk of strong to severe thunderstorms during the afternoon on Thursday with damaging winds and heavy rain as the likely threats. After the cold front passes it’ll shift winds from the northwest ushering colder air for the day on Friday.
Highs will feel raw during the afternoon with most locations in the lower 40s. There could be a few lingering sprinkles and light flurries through the day.
This weekend will be chilly and sunny with highs in the lower 40s. Next week highs will warm to the lower 50s with a chance of showers returning by Tuesday of next week.
