FDA cracks down on unreliable antibody test kits
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The country is in desperate need of COVID-19 antibody tests, but some companies manufacturing the tests are under fire.
On Wednesday, News 8’s Dr. Mary Gillis, D.Ed., discussed the antibody testing kits on the market, some of which are producing unreliable results.
Gillis also talked about how the U.S. Food and Drug Administration plans to address the issue by implementing stricter regulation strategies.
