Female driver dies after three-vehicle crash on city’s southeast side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A female has died after a crash on the city’s southeast side, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said Wednesday.
The crash happened at Southeastern Avenue and East Raymond Street just after 12:30 p.m. IMPD said the crash involved three vehicles.
A female driver was driving a smaller vehicle westbound on Southeastern Avenue when she turned in front of oncoming traffic. Her vehicle was struck by two trucks that were traveling eastbound on Southeastern Avenue.
The victim died at the scene. Her identity and her age have not been released. The drivers of the trucks suffered minor injuries and remained on the scene of the crash.
