Fire destroys east side home
Firefighters are investigating what caused a fire that destroyed a home of the city’s east side.
The Indianapolis Fire Department says crews responded to the home on Denny Street shortly after 8 a.m. Friday.
That’s near Washington and Sherman on the city’s east side.
IFD confirmed the house was vacant and that part of the structure did collapse.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
