Firefighters battle blaze at Hendricks County abandoned home

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A vacant Hendricks County house went up in flames early Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to White Lick Creek Road, just south of East County Road 600 South, around 3 a.m.

Water was brought in on tanker trucks since there were no hydrants in the area.

No one was hurt.

Firefighters had made significant progress on the blaze by 4 a.m.

There’s no word on how it started.
