Fishers police to host 30th citizen’s police academy
FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) — The Fishers Police Department is accepting applications for its 30th citizen’s police academy.
Classes will run for 12 weeks on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 beginning on Mar. 30.
Participants will get hand-on training and become familiar with what it is like to be a police officer.
You can apply online or in person at the Fishers Police Department. Applications will be accepted until Mar. 28.
You must be at least 16 years old and a resident or employee in the Hamilton Southeaster School District.
