Flanner House celebrates 117 years of service to community

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A celebration was held Wednesday afternoon for an organization that has been a part of the community for more than a hundred years.

Flanner House held its annual luncheon meeting Wednesday. It was a full house at Crane Bay Events Center.

The Flanner House slogan is “An open door to the community.”

For 117 years Flanner House has helped people into home ownership, job-readiness and self-sufficiency.

Flanner House introduced a new chair of the board, and talked about how Flanner House will continue to impact the community for years to come.
