Found skeletal remains determined to be of woman last seen in 2012

LAGRANGE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Authorities have determined that skeletal remains found in northern Indiana are that of a woman who had been last seen in 2012.

According to the Indiana State Police, the remains, which were ultimately determined to be that of 47-year-old Tiffany Huffman, were found in rural LaGrange County on April 8. The remains were found in a field by the property owner.

Huffman was last seen in Stroh, Indiana in 2012.

The cause of death is undetermined at this time. However, authorities do not believe foul play was involved.

The case remains under investigation.
