Frigid Tuesday with a few flurries this afternoon
Frigid start to the morning with sub-zero wind chills for the morning hours. Mostly sunny start to the day with clouds thickening this afternoon! A weak wave will pass through the during the afternoon generating a few flurries with no accumulation. Highs today will top out in the lower 20s this afternoon. Flurries should end late tonight as lows fall to the lower teens.
Wednesday will be a quiet and cold day with highs warming to the lower 30s with mostly cloudy skies.
Thursday will be the next chance of some accumulating snow. The morning commute will stay mainly dry with snow chances increasing through mid to late afternoon. Steady snow will fall through the day and evening making the evening commute tricky for commuters. Snow will continue to fall through the overnight and through Friday morning. Highs during the day on Thursday will top out in the mid 30s.
Early Friday morning snow will transition to a mix then light rain during the afternoon. Snow accumulation looks to be 1”-3” of snow with some pockets of some heavier accumulation. The rest of Friday afternoon will stay cloudy and mild with highs warming to the lower 40s. This weekend will be a 180 from this winter like week. Highs will soar to the lower 50s with a few thunderstorms during the afternoon. Showers will continue through the overnight and through Sunday. Highs for Sunday will warm to the lower 50s and cool as a cold front passes during the day. And we SPRING forward this weekend! Be sure to set your clock ahead and hour Saturday night!
