gBETA Fort Wayne names director, accepting applications

Sarah Aubrey

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Inside Indiana Business) – Wisconsin-based startup accelerator gener8tor has named Sarah Aubrey program director of gBETA Fort Wayne, which is currently accepting applications for startups to participate in its spring program. Aubrey previously worked in higher education and arts administration.

In her new role, Aubrey will serve as a liaison between the Fort Wayne startup community and gener8tor’s network and resources. She will also spearhead up to two gBETA programs annually.

The gBETA program in Fort Wayne works in partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corp. and the city of Fort Wayne’s Summit City Entrepreneur and Enterprise District, known as SEED.

“Our focus is to help start, scale and retain businesses. We see gBETA as a much-needed tool to quickly launch startups with a strong potential to scale,” said SEED Fort Wayne Director Trois Hart. “SEED funded gBETA because it is an exceptional opportunity for five early-stage businesses to quickly accelerate their launch and pitch to a national network of investors,” added Hart.

gBETA Fort Wayne will lead two programs, with five local companies accepted per cohort.

gBETA  will accept applications from startups looking for investors through March 27. For more information, click here
