Giving Tuesday: Donate to Community Health Network’s ‘Patient Assistance Fund’

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Community Health Network says a $4 donation can make a huge difference in the lives of its patients.

Its “Patient Assistance Fund” makes sure people can meet their basic needs during treatment, including covering the costs of groceries or helping fill of their gas tank.

Dennis Person is cancer patient at Community Cancer Center East.

He and his wife have felt the program’s impact firsthand.

“We were given a $250 gift card for Kroger at a time when we really needed it. It was a total surprise. We were shocked by it,” Person said. We didn’t know. We got it through the mail.”
