‘Gr8 Comeback’: The Cut Grooming Lounge

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A team of young barbers set up shop in the Irvington neighborhood to give people a grooming experience they can’t just get anywhere else. The Cut Grooming Lounge, has only been around a little less than a year, but co-owner Cameron Clinton says he believes it’s already one of the premier barbershop experiences in the area.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic also hit their business within their first year open. Clinton said they figured out ways to overcome the obstacles due to the pandemic.

“It’s been a challenge, most definitely,” Clinton said.

Having to be appointment only with basically no walk-in traffic. He says that’s when they discovered an app that gave them easy access to their current and future customers.

“We’ve been going on Booksy that’s how we book our appointments,” Clinton said. “You can find us all on there.”
