Half and half holiday weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Rain and chilly temperatures Saturday will make way for mild and sunny weather, Sunday.

Saturday:

Another cloudy, chilly, wet and breezy day on tap. Expect scattered showers through much of the day – especially for the central and eastern portions of the state. 

Gusty winds will ease up a bit, but still noted over 20mph at times through the day Saturday.

Temperatures will struggle again – only topping out in the middle 40s Saturday afternoon. There will be some exceptions to the west, where warmer air and some sunshine should push you into the 50s to near 60°.

Tonight:

Rain pulls away and winds will relax. We’ll turn chilly, with lows dipping to the middle 30s.

Easter Sunday:

Quick turnaround, as warmer air rushes back into the Midwest Sunday. Despite a chilly early morning,we’ll be in great shape for any of your holiday plans. Expect sunshine and highs in the middle to upper 60s.

8 day forecast:

We’re back on track heading into the last full week of April. Temperatures will be well above average for the majority of the week. An active pattern will bring rain and storms to the area Tuesday, with isolated to scattered showers Wednesday and Thursday.
