GREENFIELD, Ind. (WISH) – The Hancock County Public Library recently tried to make it into the record books.
The library attempted to break the Guinness World Record for “Most People Balancing Books on Their Heads at the Same Time” yesterday at the Greenfield- Central High School football field.
A record 998 people balanced books on their heads simultaneously in Australia back in 2012.
Unfortunately, the library did not set the new world record for the number of people balancing books on their heads.
Even though the effort fell short of the mark, 721 people still showed up and balanced a book on their cranium.
The world record attempt kicked-off the Hancock County Public Library’s summer reading club, “Every Hero has a Story”.
