Heat sticks round with rain and cooler temperatures by the end of the week

A sweltering day for Labor Day with highs in the lower 90s and feel like temperatures in the mid to upper 90s! Another hot day on tap with the potential for hitting 33 days in the lower 90s. Lots of sunshine for today with an isolated shower possible during the afternoon. Tonight lows will bottom out in the lower 70s.

Indainapolis (WISH) 

 Wednesday will still be hot with highs in the lower 90s once again. A better chance of showers and storms during the later half of the afternoon. Relief from the heat insight for the later half of the work week with highs come Thursday afternoon with highs nearing the seasonal mark topping out in the mid 80s with a better chance of showers and storms. Storms will continue through Friday with highs cooling off to the lower 80s. 

Showers and storms will continue through the weekend wit left overs form now Tropical Storm Gordon. Moistures will travel across central portions of the US and will give much of the upper Midwest the chance of storms Saturday and Sunday. Highs for this weekend will hit the upper 70s.
