A warm and cloudy start to the morning with temperatures in the lower 70s. Showers will become more widespread during the later half of the morning and afternoon. There could be a few storms that become strong with heavy rain and damaging winds as the main threats. Highs today will be considerably cooler with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Scattered showers and storms will continue through the overnight.
Thursday will be another soaker of a day with scattered showers and storms around throughout the day. Highs still below our seasonal high topping out in the lower 80s. A marginal risk of severe weather during the day with heavy rain and gusty winds. Scattered showers will stick around for the remainder of the work week with severe weather chances diminishing by the end of the week. Rain totals are looking hefty by the beginning of the weekend while more areas could accumulate 1-2″ of rain.
Highs by Friday will be slightly warmer during the day topping out in the mid 80s. An isolated storm chance come Saturday. Highs this weekend will stay near seasonal, heating up to the lower 80s.
Next week rain chance arrive late Monday through Tuesday with highs cooling off to the lower 80s.
