Heavy rain, storms move in Thursday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A soggy end of the week will bring a brief shot of cooler temperatures.

Wednesday night:

Should stay quiet during the ovenright. Expect cloudy conditions, with the possibility of stray showers closer to daybreak Thursday.

Overnight lows will fall to the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Thursday:

Much more active day on tap. Expect scattered showers, with a few rumbles of thunder to roll through during the morning hours. We’ll continue with scattered showers for much of the middle and later portions of the day. 

A few storms could be on the strong to severe side for Thursday afternoon. Main concern will be damaging wind potential.

Highs top out in the upper 60s.

Friday:

Much cooler temperautres are on the way. Scattered showers will be possible for the morning hours, drying out by the afternoon. Highs will only hit the lower to middle 40s.

Easter weekend:

A few isolated showers with cooler temperatuers are possible for Saturday. Should be in better shape Easter Sunday, with sunshine and milder temperatuers.

8 day forecast:

We’ll stay well above average temperature-wise for the new workweek. Highs will hold in the low to mid 70s, with just a few isolated showers possible Monday, with higher chances Tuesday.
