Heavy rain to end the week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A stormy and soggy start to the morning with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures Thursday morning will hold in the 60s and will stick there through the afternoon. Winds will get gusty as a cold front approaches the area. Winds will gust as high as 30 mph. Heavy rain will continue through the day with a Flood Watch will linger through early Friday morning. Showers will continue to fall through the overnight and early morning hours of Friday as temperatures will fall through the 50s then in the upper 40s.

Scattered showers will stretch through the first half of the weekend with temperatures running cool. Highs will warm to the mid-50s. After a solid 48 hours of shower chances, rain accumulation will be between 2-3”. Easter Sunday will be dry for any Easter egg hunts and church plans. Highs will also warm to the lower 70s through the afternoon.

Next week will be unsettled and warm with a daily chance of showers and storms and highs warming to the lower 70s.
