Husband, wife arrested after drug lab found in home

COLUMBUS, Ind. (WISH) – A husband and wife were arrested by Columbus police on charges of manufacturing of methamphetamine.

The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s department said they were responding to a welfare check on Thursday around 11:30 p.m. when they found meth making materials inside a home in the 1400 block of North 850 East.

Police arrested Jeremy Sweet, 33,m and his wife Linsey Sweet, 31. Jeremy was arrested on charges of operating an illegal drug lab and possession of two or more chemical reagents with firearms. Linsey was arrested on a charge of maintaining a common nuisance. She was released on a $7,500 bond. Jeremy remained in the Bartholomew County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
