I-65 re-opened after jack-knifed semi cleared
BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – According to the Boone County Sheriffs department, I-65 was slick and snow-covered Saturday morning. The conditions led to accidents that closed the northbound lanes of I-65 for two hours.
Around 11 a.m. Saturday, police had an accident in the southbound lanes of I-65 at the 139 mile marker.
At the same time, there was an accident involving a jack-knifed semi in the northbound lanes near State Road 32, that closed those lanes to traffic.
All lanes on I-65 were re-opened around 1 p.m.
Police did not say if anyone was hurt in either accident.
