I-70 westbound reopens ahead of schedule
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana Department of Transportation announced Friday westbound lanes of I-70 are now open.
“I-70 WESTBOUND IS OPEN,” the department tweeted Friday afternoon. “The barrels are coming down!”
The westbound lanes were originally scheduled to reopen on Monday Aug. 5.
Eastbound I-70 remains closed.
