IMPD captain recognized by international organization
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A captain with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is being recognized by an international organization.
Capt. Brian Nanavaty was honored by the International Association of Chiefs of Police Foundation in San Diego.
The event honors officers who have made significant sacrifices or contributions to the law enforcement profession.
Nanavaty was selected as a finalist for his work on officer wellness and professional development.
IMPD was identified as a model agency.
