IMPD identifies man fatally shot on NW side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Indianapolis police say a man died after a shooting on the city’s northwest side Friday night.
Officers responded to reports of a person being brought to Westview Hospital with a gunshot wound to the thigh. Police said that he was brought to the hospital by his sister.
The man was later identified by police as 31-year-old Charles Brown of Indianapolis.
Police believe that the shooting occurred in the 4400 block of Robertson Boulevard, which is believed to be the home of a family member.
No suspects have been arrested or identified.
