IMPD identifies person of interest in woman’s death

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is looking for a person of interest in connection to a woman’s death.

According to the department, on Aug. 14, officers were called to the 2200 block of East 52nd Street for a report of an unresponsive woman.

After getting to the scene, the woman, later identified as 22-year-old Kylie Williams, was found in the area. She was pronounced dead on the scene.

Following an investigation into the death, officers have identified a man, a person of interest, in the case. Police are seeking to speak to the man, believing he may have information on the events that led up to her death.

The Marion County Coroner’s Office had determined her cause of death to be fentanyl, cocaine and ethanol intoxication/accident.
