IMS partnering with Snapchat during Indy 500
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Verizon IndyCar Series are teaming up with Snapchat for Sunday’s Indy 500 race.
A team from Snapchat, the mobile-only photo and video messaging application, will combine content shared by race-goers into collective packages called Live Stories, according to a media release.
“Live Stories capture a variety of perspectives, delivering a unique sense of community,” said Snapchat Director of Partnerships Ben Schwerin. “In partnering with the Verizon IndyCar Series and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, we can bring Snapchatters closer to Sunday’s excitement.”
A Live Story will be viewable for 24 hours.
