MONTGOMERY, Ind. (WISH) — A video of an Indiana 10-year-old rafting down the “corn rapids” near his Montgomery home on Monday has been shared nearly 3,000 times online. 

Miller Thompson, 10, of Montgomery, decided to have some fun in the rain Monday afternoon.

Miller’s mother, Brooke Thompson, said she was telling Miller and her daughter about how she used to have so much fun in the rain when she was little. 

Her story sparked an idea. 

“We all three went outside to make memories,” explained Brooke Thompson. “We didn’t have a float so we first tried a trash can lid and it was a fail.”

In the video Miller is seen rafting along the side of the cornfields, having a blast.
