INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Governor Eric Holcomb announced Friday that he is directing flags to be flown at half-staff in the wake of Thursday’s attacks in Kabul, Afghanistan, that killed 13 U.S. service members and many others.

Flags should be flown at half-staff until sunset on Monday, Aug. 30, Holcomb said.

Holcomb also asked businesses and residents to lower their flags to half-staff to honor those who died.
