(WCMH/WISH) – Huntington Bank customers are reporting that debit card transactions are appearing twice on their accounts.

Huntington Bank attributes the issue to an overnight processing problem.

According to a Twitter post from the bank, the charged will be removed today and all related fees will be waived. On Facebook the company said the double-posts were from account activity on Monday. They said “There is no weekend processing, so purchases made previously may be included.”

The company expects the problem to affect account balances for a short period and balances should be fixed on Wednesday.

Several customers Indiana and Ohio are reporting negative bank balances as a result of the problem.
