INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WISH) — The Office of Gov. Eric Holcomb announced Friday that Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA) Commissioner Lesley Crane will be stepping down on Aug. 13.

According to the Governor’s Office, Crane is leaving the position to focus her efforts in the private sector.

“As commissioner, Crane has been dedicated to delivering gold standard service while maintaining her fiscal responsibility to the taxpayer … I appreciate her commitment to good government service and serving all Hoosiers,” said Holcomb.

Crane was appointed to the position in 2018 and has overseen several large IDOA projects, including the Indiana Veteran’s Center and the NeuroDiagnostic Institute.
