Man shot, killed in Fort Wayne overnight
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) – A man is dead following an overnight shooting in Fort Wayne, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.
Just after 1 a.m., officers were called to a residence in the 1600 block of Franklin Avenue for a report of shots fired.
Once on the scene, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police said a person of interest is being interviewed by officers.
No victim or possible suspect information has been released.
