Missing 74-year-old man located, taken to hospital

UPDATE: Police on Monday afternoon canceled the Silver Alert for Renner after he was found and taken to an area hospital. 

MISHAWAKA, Ind. (WISH) – A Statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 74-year-old man.

According to the Indiana State Police, Philip Renner has been missing since Sunday Nov. 11, at 3:30 a.m.

Renner is described as a while male, who is 5’11” tall and weighs 190 lbs. He has brown hair and hazel eyes, police say.

At the time of his disappearance, Renner was wearing a T-shirt, dark-colored shorts and socks. He was seen driving a dark blue 2005 Toyota Corolla four-door with Indiana plate 179WG.

Police say they believe Renner is in extreme danger, possibly in need of medical attention.
