Motorcyclist killed in 2-vehicle crash in Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) — A man riding a motorcycle was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Fort Wayne on Wednesday afternoon, the Fort Wayne Police Department said.

Police say the motorcycle collided with a Toyota Corolla in the 1000 block of West Coliseum Boulevard at approximately 12:47 p.m. The motorcycle was traveling westbound on West Coliseum Boulevard and the Corolla was turning left onto the street from a shopping plaza to travel east, according to police.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead. Police say he was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the Corolla, also a man, was not injured in the crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
