Silver Alert cancelled, Richmond man found in Ohio
UPDATE: A Silver Alert has been cancelled after a Richmond man was located during a traffic stop in Ohio.
RICHMOND, Ind. (WISH) — A Silver Alert has been issued by the Richmond Police Department regarding the disappearance of a Richmond man.
According to police, Charles W. Provance, 70, was last seen on Wednesday around 3:15 p.m. Police believe the man is in danger.
Provance is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall and weights 200 pounds. He has grey hair, green eyes and is baring a tattoo on his upper right arm of a blue rose with the words “Mildred Elvira.” He was last seen wearing a plaid button up shirt, dark blue jeans, camouflage shoes and a grey hat with the letters CPR.
Police believe Provance was traveling in a 2002 Dodge Ram single cab, long bed truck with Indiana plates TK853MAQ.
