Silver Alert canceled for missing Ossian man
LATEST: An Indiana Silver Alert issued June 23 for Jeffery Chesak has been canceled. Decatur Police Department could not immediately say whether Chesak was found safe; a phone message was left Thursday afternoon with a detective in the department.
OSSIAN, Ind. (WISH) — A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a man missing out of Ossian.
The Decatur Police Department is searching for 37-year-old Jeffery Chesak. He is missing out of Ossian, a town about 115 miles northeast of Indianapolis.
Chesak is 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighs 144 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a dark blue 2014 Subaru Forester with Indiana plate BEF423.
Police believe Chesak is in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
